Situated in the southern part of the city, but still incredibly quiet. This is what distinguishes the campsite in Grasse.
Here you will find everything the campers' heart desires: tidy terrain, where it is rather easy to level the motorhome or caravan, large and small pitches separated by hedges that create privacy, partly ancient olive trees that provide shade.

Here it is not only quiet, but also in the middle of the Mediterranean nature. The cicadas sing or one has the rare luck that such an animal chooses the hiking boots at night for skinning (left picture). That must be very exhausting, because it took a long time, until our guest clung to a paper handkerchief and I could set it then to the tree on our parking lot (right picture). In completely short time however, this cicada was to be recognized hardly still, because the fresh shell looked like the tree bark.
Water connections are in hose range, the taps have threads so that the own connection system can be screwed on, the power boxes are also available in sufficient measure with the EC connections, and also WiFi is there. The access data is available at the reception.
The way to the camping site is actually quite simple, if the GPS would not usually indicate nonsense and would send you through a residential area with too narrow streets!
That's why here's the path we took with our team without getting stuck:
Driving on the motorway A8 you reach the exit Le Cannet, Grasse.
Head in the direction of Grasse, take the D6185 Pénétrante Grasse Canne, a 4-lane road that takes about 15 minutes to reach the Grasse Sud exit. Take this one and you reach a roundabout where the second exit, the main road, is the right one.
No matter what the GPS shows and tells you, you must continue on the main road until you reach a roundabout where you will see a McDonalds restaurant opposite. Here turn sharp right into the first exit (Route de Cannes).
Righthand is a VW dealer, on the left side are the shops of the Fragonard perfumery, and after the first major roundabout, of Galimard liks. Still on the Route de Cannes you pass two bakeries and see the supermarket Auchan on the right side.
Here you come to a roundabout and take the first exit and follow the signs. (Attention! Here, cars approaching from the right side have priority!)
The sanitary facilities are without fault and blame. The design may seem a bit outdated, but everything is clean and practical, because the things you bring with you don't get wet.
Grasse can be perfectly explored from here. Those who like art can visit the various museums or the artists' scene at the Place de la Poissonnerie below the town hall. In Grasse, the theme of perfume is omnipresent in museums, the old factories of the Pafumeuere, small, independent perfumers, from which we present our selection here.
And there are two more large areas, the Grasse hinterland and the Mediterranean beaches.
Depending on your own preferences, you can be at the stand in about 20 minutes or hike or drive through the karstic hills of Provençe, which is still untouched here.
Status: Fall 2018
In the year 2018 we have been three times on this place. I think that's reason enough for the 9.9 of 10 possible points.
