About 10 minutes from the city centre of Echternach lies the official camping site of the tourist office embedded in a green landscape.
Although there is a main road between the square and the little river Sauer, it was surprisingly quiet, because when it comes to sleeping we are quite sensitive and very pleasantly surprised how well the trees and the higher terrain keep the noise level down.

The sanitary facilities are without fault and blame. Something has come of age, but clean and they work perfectly.
The power supply at the pitches is no longer state-of-the-art: EC sockets are not available and an adapter to Schuko plugs is required. At the reception you will get help.
The pitches themselves are of different sizes and quite flat. We liked the hedges separating the pitches.
Exclusively gravel sites for motorhomes also exist.
The fresh water supply is ancient, but still acceptable: water must be fetched from taps that are too far away for a hose connection. are available, but in sufficient number on the place.
Echternach is the capital of the Mëllerdall, which can be discovered on foot or by bike. The town itself also has some very interesting things to offer. such as the Roman villa, churches, pretty old town, and much more, so that boredom certainly does not arise. - For breakfast you can have in the village shop at several bakers in Bahnhofstrasse.
