Situated in the southern part of the city, but still incredibly quiet. This is what distinguishes the campsite in Grasse.
Here you will find everything your camper heart desires: tidy terrain, where it is rather easy to level the motorhome or caravan, large and small pitches separated by hedges that create privacy, some with ancient olive trees that provide shade.

This is not only a quiet place, but also in the middle of the Mediterranean nature. The cicadas sing or one has the rare luck that such an animal chooses the hiking boots at night for skinning (left picture). This must be very exhausting, because it took a long time until our guest clung to a paper handkerchief and I was able to put it on the tree on our pitch (right picture). In very short time however, this cicada was hardly to be recognized, because the fresh tank looked like the tree bark.
Water connections are within hose reach, the taps have threads so that your own connection system can be screwed on, the power boxes are also available in sufficient numbers with the EC connections, and WiFi is also there. The access data is available at the reception.
The way to the campsite is actually quite easy, if the GPS wouldn't usually say nonsense and send you through a residential area with streets far too narrow!
That's why here's the way we drove with our team without getting stuck:
Coming on the A8 you reach the exit Le Cannet, Grasse.
Direction Grasse, take the D6185 Pénétrante Grasse Canne, a 4-lane road that takes about 15 minutes to reach the Grasse Sud exit. Take this and reach a roundabout where the second exit, the main road, is the right one.
No matter what the navigation device shows and tells , continue driving on the main road until you reach a roundabout, where opposite a McDonald's restaurant. Here turn sharp right into the first exit (Route de Cannes).
On the right is a VW dealer, on the left the shops of Fragonard perfumery are left, and after the first bigger roundabout, Galimard liks. Still on the Route de Cannes you pass two bakeries and see the supermarket Auchan on the right side.
Here you come to a roundabout and take the first exit and follow the signs. (Attention! Here " right before left"!)
The sanitary facilities are without fault and blame. The design may seem a bit outdated, but everything is clean and practical (or because of that?), because the things you bring with you don't get wet.
Grasse can be perfectly explored from here. Those who like art can visit the various museums or the artist scene at the Place de la Poissonnerie below the town hall.
In Grasse, the theme of perfume is omnipresent in museums, the old factories of the Pafumeuere, small, independent perfumers, from which we present our selection here.
And there are two more big areas, the Grasse hinterland and the Mediterranean beach.
You can be at the stand in about 20 minutes or walk or drive through the karstic hills of the original Provençe.

Since 2018 we have been on this camp ground four times. The course offers what can be expected from a 3*** camp ground. The bends on the camp ground are sometimes very narrow, losing nerves means damage to the vehicle. For maneuvering there is little space and a Mover at the caravan is necessary to be able to place it correctly and level it.
