Bad Aibling, a spa and holiday resort, is only 50 kilometres away, practically on the outskirts of Munich. The place offers many possibilities what only few health resorts can tell.
During a film production we got to know Bad Aibling for the first time. The Alps are within sight and the Inn Valley is not far away. We heard about miles of hiking trails, which we want to hike on our next visits.

At the top of our list is the trip with the rack railway to the Wendelstein. And we like to visit the Bavarian Sea, Lake Chiemsee, again and again, as it is only half an hour away.
Bad Aibling also has a beautiful spa park, which we visited and really forgot our work stress in a flash.
The place is located at the mouth of the Glonn Creek into the Mangfall Creek which is a real eye-catcher. Health has been the main theme of the city for many years and I felt that everywhere. Traditional village idyll paired with southern flair and the everywhere health facilities fascinated us during the preparation of our story and during shooting breaks. A glance at the event notes reveals changing events that make life in Bad Aibling colourful and versatile.
Bad Aibling is Bavaria's oldest mud spa and at the same time the youngest thermal spa. Many clinics make the small town a veritable health city for everyone who wants to get well again or simply stay healthy. For more than 170 years, competence, experience and an attentive approach to the topic of health have met here.
