Rather by chance I stumbled across this really unexpected gem in Grasse. In an environment that doesn't remind at all of «town», but rather gives the impression of the genuine, Provençal country through the olive groves laid out in terraces, this property is a little hidden, approximately 20 minutes away from the old city centre.

Le Domaine Saint Sauveur
92, rue Jeanne Jugan, Place Saint Sauveur
Two apartments are available. La Bastitde with its four large rooms, each with its own shower and WC, a spacious living room and kitchen and a large terrace with a magnificent view of the hills covered with olive trees. Ideally, up to eight people can enjoy a relaxing holiday here.
I stay at the Domaine Saint Saveur in Grasse, about 20 minutes away from the old city centre.
The second apartment, La Chapelle, is a completely renovated chapel converted into an apartment. Two rooms, living and dining room with spacious kitchen, one bedroom on suspended ceiling and another small room, which can be used as a children's room. Ideally 4 persons can live here.
From here the whole range of holiday wishes can be fulfilled: from relaxing and doing nothing to visiting Grasse, the hinterland of Grasse, called Pays de Grasse, or trips to the beaches between Cannes and Théoule-sur Mer and even further to Saint-Raphaël.
Who would like to arrange his vacation in an apartment something different, is here exactly right. There are no language barriers, as the landlady speaks English besides French.
