Camping Parc Mogador is a 4-star campsite with a fantastic 900m sandy beach in the bay of Bandol, Sanary's town centre (1km) and Bandol (2km).
The beaches of the bay of Bandol (about 900m away) let you relax. We already paused here during our last visit. There is an alternative to this beach on the other side of Sanary, in Six-Fours-les-Plages. It's better to go there by bike or by car, on foot, we think, but then it's a little too far. The beach there is a pebbly beach with a very gently falling seabed. Ideal for children or other non-swimmers.

From the campsite you can reach Sanary's old harbour and the car park in the centre of the village in a very short time by car. To Bandol it takes only 3 minutes at night, if there is no traffic, during the day a little longer depending on time and day of the week. Spoiled by the excellent parking facilities centrally located in Sanary, Bandol offers a similar number of parking spaces along the coast in the city area. But one should not speculate on "free parking".
The site has 162 bays on an area of 2 ha and offers 82 motorhomes, and 80 caravans ample space.
For your leisure activities, you can choose the heated swimming pool, which also has a children's pool, a bowling alley, French pétanque (a kind of boule) or table tennis. There is a playground for young families where they can play under the supervision of their parents.
During July and August there are animators who have additional ideas.
If 10 out of 10 possible points are reached, the author does not have it easy. Either the hymn of praise becomes long ... no one reads that ... or he limits himself succinctly to: there is nothing to complain about.
The only thing the visitor should know is that as soon as possible after arriving at the reception a remedy against ants will be taken before the small crawlers reach the interior of the caravan or mobile home. Besides, that helps a lot, food leftovers should be disposed of properly, because they are a real invitation!
We didn't have any problems because that's exactly what we did, some nice Dutch neighbours on the other side of the road had uninvited visitors because they took care of their roommates too late.
We booked already in February, in order not to have to look for a camping and/or parking place. This is important for an 8 m long caravan. The pitch assigned to us was perfect.
The hot water supply was not good compared to the own demand of the operators: Hot water was rather lukewarm, which was annoying when taking a shower, when washing the dishes rather a nuisance. - This year, points will be deducted for this.
